Toyota to Launch in 2011 Its New Prius Hybrid Minivan

 

Recently Toyota announced that it will launch a Prius minivan, which means that the company decided to step into the market of hybrid minivans.
This step is surely not a surprise, considering the success of Toyota Prius that made a boom on the market of hybrid vehicles.
The company’s hybrid minivan will be launched in 2011, boasting a high fuel economy and a spacious interior. Inside you will find three rows of seats, which means that the vehicle will be able to transport up to 7 people.
It is worth mentioning that Toyota’s hybrid minivan was unveiled for the first time at this year’s North American International Auto Show. Although the company did not provide any clue regarding the price of its new vehicle, it is expected to be comparable to other Prius models available today on the market.
Throughout the next couple of years, Toyota looks forward to present its 8 new hybrid models and most likely over half of them will be from the Prius family.
