Geely Presents Compact Solar Hybrid Vehicle at Beijing Auto Show

 

Visitors of the Beijing Auto Show were able to witness the presentation of the new eco-friendly vehicle from Geely. The IG model has its hood covered with solar panels.
The compact car also boasts a hybrid power train to provide a fuel-efficient driving.
So far the company did not provide any information on when it will start the mass production of its new vehicle.
However, Geely has a number of other eco-friendly cars that it decided to present at the auto show.
Its two other electric cars are called the EK-1 and the EK-2. The former features lead acid batteries and boast a range of 80 kilometers and the latter has lithium iron phosphate battery and its range is 180 kilometers.
