Jaguar's Turbine Powered C-X75 Supercar Concept
Jaguar rolled out its XJ220 inspired 780 horsepower C-X75 RE-EV range extended electric vehicle concept and the car works with a "micro gas turbine" which throws in 1180 lb-ft of torque. They claim it takes 6 hours to charge the plug in sports car and has a range of 560 miles / 900 km and an lithium ion only range of 68 miles.
The four 195 horse electric motors are mounted a the corners one at each wheel to provide torque vectoring. The turbines, can change the batteries or add 188 horsepower in track mode. Its not hard to see why this will be a competitor in the supercar hybrid luxury range. Check out the photos below:
